The Role Of Investment Capital In Diversifying Financing Sources In Algeria

The research aims to examine the private equity firms' features and practices in Algeria. Relying on data provided by these firms, they are all used to analyze their role in diversifying financing sources through investment projects. The study concludes that private equity, in Algeria, is a form of financing sources that complements the bank financing, which is practiced by their firms as a financial service beside other financial services as: leasing, investment loans…etc. In addition, there is a lack of regulatory framework regarding the non-distinction between the management company that regroups professionals, and the investment fund where invested funds are collected.
