The aim of this work is to evaluate the influence of repeated injection of ivermectin on growth performance of Ouled Djellal lambs aged 7 months (214 ±3.72 days) and feeding with barley as concentrate feed. This experiment was taken place between july and august 2014 in Guelma municipal region of East Algeria- .However, 40 males were equally divided into two homogeneous groups (control and experimental) weighing respectively 35.8±1.54 and 35.6±1.47 Kg (P>0.05). The two considered groups received the first injection of ivermectin at 30 days of age and the experiment group was given a second injection of the same product at J0 day. Therefore, all animals were conducted in the same manner, during this experiment. These diet consists to distribute straw wheat with a limited amount, and barley concentrate (60 % of barley, + 30 % of bran), distributed like water ad libitum. The injection of ivermectin one month after the first treatment, had no effect on zootechnical and economics performance traits of Ouled Djellal lambs (P>0.05). Related an average daily gain product (about of 200g/d), is comparable to those of other breeds, raised on barley and meals (soybean, sunflower, colza). It is the consequence probably of a single injection of ivermectin, especially combined with feed presented ad libitum to the trough, contain mainly a barley concentrate.
