Appel à candidatures : Prix du concours d’arts des médias

Travaillez-vous dans le domaine des arts des médias et avez-vous récemment réalisé un projet dans ce champ ? Nous vous invitons à postuler au Prix Ars Electronica et à concourir pour l’une des distinctions les plus prestigieuses au monde dans le domaine des arts des médias. Décerné chaque année, ce prix constitue depuis toujours une plateforme majeure permettant aux artistes de présenter leurs œuvres devant un jury international d’experts.



Le concours s’adresse aux projets à l’intersection de l’art, de la technologie et de la société. Les candidatures peuvent être soumises dans les catégories suivantes :



Nouvelle animation

Met l’accent sur les œuvres explorant l’expression visuelle au point de rencontre entre animation, art et technologie.



Humanités numériques

Projets mobilisant les technologies numériques pour aborder des enjeux sociaux, culturels et éthiques, renforcer la participation et l’inclusion, et produire un impact social tangible.



Art interactif

Domaine artistique alliant recherche et pratique, centré sur l’interaction à travers des installations, des performances et des systèmes qui encouragent la participation du public et favorisent le changement.



Moins de 19 ans – Crée ton monde

Catégorie destinée aux jeunes de moins de 19 ans, leur permettant d’exprimer leurs visions et idées pour un avenir meilleur à travers des initiatives créatives.

Individus, groupes, institutions et entreprises.



Prix

The Golden Nica, d’une valeur pouvant atteindre 10 000 euros. Les lauréats seront honorés lors du festival Ars Electronica, qui se tiendra du 9 au 13 septembre 2026 à Linz, en Autriche.



Date limite de candidature

4 mars 2026.

Call for Applications: Media Arts Competition Award



Do you work in the field of media arts and have you recently completed a project in this area? We invite you to apply for the Ars Electronica Prize and compete for one of the most prestigious awards worldwide in the field of media arts. Presented annually, the prize has long been a key platform for artists to showcase their work before an international jury of experts.



The competition targets projects at the intersection of art, technology, and society. Awards are granted according to the following categories:



New Animation Art

Focuses on works that explore visual expression at the intersection of animation, art, and technology.



Digital Humanities

Projects that use digital technologies to address social, cultural, and ethical issues, enhance participation and inclusion, and generate a tangible social impact.



Interactive Art

An artistic field combining research and practice, centered on interaction through installations, performances, and systems that stimulate audience participation and drive change.



Under 19 – Create Your World

A category for young people under 19 years old, enabling them to express their visions and ideas for a better future through creative initiatives.



Target Group

Individuals, groups, institutions, and companies.



Award

The Golden Nica, with a prize value of up to €10,000. Winners will be honored at the Ars Electronica Festival, to be held from 9 to 13 September 2026 in Linz, Austria.



Application Deadline

4 March 2026.
