The article discusses the weakness of industrial output of private Small and medium size enterprises in Algeria between 2005 and 2009, Despite the important increase in the number of enterprises created. It aims at analysing economic situation by emphasizing on: -The conditions surrounding the creation of industrial enterprises, in terms of state encouragements to private sector. -The main features of quantitative and qualitative features of the development of private industrial sector in Algeria between 2005 - 2009.
